Spin This EP is an experimental but ear caressing groovy house trip, which is both suitable for the happy dance floor as well as for intimate moments of just listening and enjoying. Originality is the given name and imaginativeness is the surname of this nicely packed but totally unpretentious feet mover for adventurous house lovers. Predrag Sestic aka Shekimon has been producing electronic music since 2000. Born 1979 in Zadar (Croatia), he currently lives in Belgrade (Serbia). His production is influenced by tech house, glitch, dub, minimal and electro - a nicely balanced fusion of different vibes in modern electronic club music.

The basic philosophy behind his sound is a strong club vibe - highly filtered and very pleasant - and a good idea backed up by the inevitable groove.

Receiving tremendous feedback from the local club scene, he is finally breaking through to a wider scene and publishing he's first releases on Proloop Recordings and Is This.

From this highly talented artist we can expect lots of future releases, so look out for Shekimon on PROLOOP and various, reputable labels.

PROLOOP RECORDINGS are proud to present as their first release the EP FLEKA by well established Belgrade house quartet Dirty Cover.

Since a four member team involved in all kinds of creative music and electronic media projects can not stick to old routes, Dirty Cover is again delivering something classic but still smoothly divers to satisfy our taste buds.

FLEKA is the forth EP by Dirty Cover. It’s A side with the track KLF serves a “dirty house sound”, very characteristic for the quartet, while the B side track MOODY is overlayed with a sensual air of ”classy and jazzy electronica”.

The four members of Dirty Cover started DJ:ing in the mid 90s in Serbia. It was a time when the country was glutted with pirate radio stations. They run the radio station Flash Radio until the national media landscape was back under control. Thereafter they continued to spread their favourite beats and mixes to the club people of Belgrade, as resident DJ’s in one of the city’s most popular clubs. In the meanwhile they run their own TV show on TV B92, the only independent TV station in that time. It was this together with a well invested computer that put the ball into rolling and the four friends started to produced music on another level.

Several releases (on different labels) and various projects later, Dirty Cover were the first to be a member of the PROLOOP family.

2008 has seen the introduction of the young minimal tech-house producer and DJ Forest People from Bosnia. Working for several labels with just one year of experience, this natural talent is already starting to get recognition from DJs and producers from all around the world.

His focus is deep, driving house, techno and electronica for the club with a very minimal but melodic touch.

1000 Miles to Heal is the debut release of this rising talent on the newly started Stockholm based label PROLOOP RECORDINGS. Forest People is one of many upcoming producers of electronic dance music from South Eastern Europe to look out for.
